This week for Creative Chaos I’m talking about the redesign we did on our worship folder.

Tony Morgan blogged earlier this week about branding your series in front of your church. This is exactly the direction we are heading with our new design.

Note that we print all of our bulletins in house and choose to use gray scale as a means to better steward our resources. I make several versions of the graphic - color for our  large screen, website homepage, other print, etc… and black and white for the worship folder.

    Very classy. I’m digging it.

  2. Russ

    Looks good!

We do a similar solution. The bulletin basically stays the same each week, but the cover, and back change as the series change, along with a handful of events.

  3. mudpuppy

I can’t wait until we can start doing our stuff in house!

  4. Peter Park

Looks great. I like the simplicity of the design.

  5. Pete Wilson

Fantastic design. It’s all part of that first impression! Keep up the great work.

  6. Josh

we do the same thing, it creates a lot of excitement. we also use the same video background for my sermons in a series, it creates a consistency that i think people need. they look at awesome, keep up the good work.

  7. Brian Alexander

I agree. Too often we won’t update the very thing visitors take home with them from our church!

Really love the design! We also keep our bulletins greyscaled. Our change week to week, but I like the idea of keeping the same design throughout a series. Gonna suggest that at our next meeting.
